Hi David
Thanks for the input.
I have now found the item. It threw me as there is a purchased CD that I
ripped which it did not recognise in the same folder.

I do not use it but I thought Windows Media Player put rips by default into the
Music folder in wma format?
However an audio book unlike a a Music CD may well not be recognised by
Windows Media Player and consequently be unable to tag CD information
sensibly. So the cds may be going into a folder called something like unknown
artist and or unknown album in your music folder.
I normally use and would recommend CDex for this kind of job which provides an
easy way to lable the CD rips so that they are easy to find with a logical book
name. You can also easily specify the folder in CDex where your books will be
ripped to.

Subject: [access-uk] Audio Books
Hi List
I have recently borrowed some audio books from our local library. I
attempted to rip them using Windows Media Player so I could put them on my
Plextalk Pocket to listen on the move.
The first CD seemed to rip fine but I cannot locate where its saved. When I
have ripped CDs in the past for my Ipod they go into a certain folder but
not the books.
I did wonder whether the books were copy protected. Does anyone know?
Can anyone shed any light on the subject please.
Phil
