This sounds really good. Can you answer a few more questions please.
1. Is it worn next to the skin or over clothing?
2. If over clothing are the signals still fairly clear - I am thinking about
in winter.
3. Is the app to be for IOS & Android?

this device called ARA has much better obsticle detection than the WeWalk,
can be
used when you are using a stand alone white cane or with a guide dog or
if you have some sight works even better if you don't use either.
they will shortly be launching a smart phone app for it and plan to add
navigation functionality to it.
it has 6 ultrasonic sensors plus 3 LIDAR laser sensors.
it is also far superior to the buzz clip, we have had both the WeWalk
and the buzz clip and now have the ARA so are able to compare them
against each other.
