I use both Apple Music and Spotify mostly from IOS Apps. I find Apple more
interesting to browse but Spotify does good playlists. Both make very
suggestions based on your listening. If you use a variety of devices to
listen on, as I do, Spotify is more versatile at seeing them direct from the
app. It works directly with Amazon Echo, Sonos and Airplay as well as
Bluetooth. It also can do a higher 320 bitrate for better audio quality
although some people prefer the way Apple processes its music. If you take
out an annual subscription Apple can be slightly cheaper at £99 otherwise
they are both £9.99 a month. If you go for the Amazon Echo offer at £3.99 be
aware that you can only use it on the one Echo device you bought it for. I
strongly recommend taking the free trials and make up your mind based on
that.

I havent subscribed to Apple Music but purchase almost all my tracks from
them.
I only purchase odd tracks though as Im old-fashioned enough to still
prefer to have a CD in my hand if it is an album I particularly want. Even
so I have about 6,000 tracks in my Music Library.
