Further to my message, I took a look at lookout, the first recommendation on
that site, only to find I couldn't read the t's and c's on the app with
iphone. What a fail! Btw, that required touch id verification on the
appstore to download, and would have required yet another email address and
password sign up. Hmm, and I couldn't get a price for the in app purchases
from apstore there either.

HI. Reading this thread made me look at the link, and I went briefly with
f-secure, as I'd used them on my Symbian mobile for a bit in the past, as
they were quite good access wise then if I remember . This offering for
iPhone and iPad does involve signing up for a subscription at first, which
is a bit of a pest really. This sign up process was accessible on the
iPhone though, and as I had thirty days free subscription, I thought I'd
give it a go. Erhrhrhr I didn't last more than five minutes before I was
taking the app off my phone and logging into their site to cancel the
subscription. The app isn't accessible, and as you can't get to find that
out before you sign up for a subscription, or not that I could find, it's a
bit of a waste. I haven't looked at the other offerings, though am hesitant
now, as, though I looked for prices of in app purchases in appstore before
downloading f-secure, I couldn't find them. all in all, not impressed here
has anyone found an accessible antivirus for iphone? Eset used to do one for
cymbian, but they don't seem to have an offering for iphone at the moment..
What I did find though was the f-secure main site was doable with voiceover,
and is with jaws. Though I have logged into the account I created, and
confirmed there my subscription is cancelled, I will be chatting with
someone later to confirm this, as they didn't send me, "we're sorry you
cancelled so quick" email confirming they'd received my request.

Hi all,
A quick AppStore and Google search for 'anti virus for iPhone' didn't return
any anti virus apps as such. So do I take it that there are no anti virus
applications for iOs devices and indeed they don't require one? And what
about Trojans and spyware, is the iPhone safe from those too?
I opened a Trojan attachment on my phone and although I think it most likely
didn't infect my phone, I'd feel a lot safer if I could find an app to scan
my iPhone for any intruders. Any thoughts? Thanks.
