Hi Steve
But is Malwarebytes accessible with a reasonable footprint?
Kind regards,

Roger,
Defender is not only a firewall, it looks after antivirus as well.
I would recommend Malwarebytes as well though, as it picks up malware that
Defender doesn't.
All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Anti Virus
Good morning
Firstlly many thanks for the help with Control Panel. Whilst on it I looked
at Widoows Defender. Before I moved to 10 there was a discussion on this
which I didn't take a lot of notice of being on 7 but I did see that it was
felt Defender was all that was needed when on 10. When my new machine came
back to me the paid for versions of Malwarebytes and Avast were not
re-installed. I was not too bothered as the renewal is the end of February
to early March and the job would be done by Defender. Now I have access to
the control panel I find Defender seems to be only a firewall. Will this be
adequate for my needs or should I re-install my previous programs?
Many thanks Roger
