[access-uk] Re: Alternative PDF readers to Adobe?

Thanks all. That's a shame. I was hoping to avoid Adobe - it never stops
updating, review says it's unsecure and above all it's somewhat slow and keeps
crashing. I've never liked it! Hope someone else on list know of an accessible
app...

I have the accessible PDF Reader installed and it's good but it's not very good
with scanned PDF docs - I want an application to view PDF docs without
converting them. Thanks anyway though.

Cheers,
Amro

Fox It is also not worth a try with a screen reader.

I haven't seen one myself. I tried one from Nuance, but it locked up
JAWS and it doesn't work with the other screen readers so went back to
  Adobe Reader.
