[access-uk] Administrator permission on a Vista machine

Hi all -
I'm trying to transfer a file from one drive to another on my partitioned Vista
laptop, and got a message telling me I'd need to provide administration
permission; what is the quick way to do this?
I can't recall why now, but as the sole user on this machine, I was told on one
of the lists, that it was a good idea not to leave the laptop in administration
mode.
