I posted this on BCAB but thought I would also post here.
From time to time people ask for information on a tactile accessible radio.
As it is that time of the year that people are looking to buy presents I
thought I would make people aware of this radio that I have been using for
about 2 years now.
It is completely tactilely accessible for a blind user with proud, easy to
feel buttons.
It is a very small radio and unlike its Goodmans personal radio equivalent does
not have a speaker, relying on earphone only output.
It is not quite as loud as the Goodmans on its earphones though I as a deaf
person find it loud enough.
Unlike the Goodmans it comes supplied with a belt clip, though I would not say
it is the most robust of this type.
It is very good and convenient with station Pre-sets once set up, and is my go
to device if I want to switch quickly between TalkSport and BBC FiveLive
sports commentaries.
It is still available on Amazon.
