Hi Mo,

Take a look at NoteTab Pro.  I say Pro because the Lite doesn't have all the
html features.  You can download a trial though at http://www.notetab.com.

I generate all my hand coded HTML using it.  It even has an HTML auto
generator library.  So for example if you ended:-

<h1>Hello Mo

And missed out the </h1> it would insert it at the end of the line.

It also has a utility you can download separately called Tidy HTML, where it
will check for unclosed tags etc.

Good luck with it, I love it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Accessible HTML editor?

Hello Everyone.

Does anyone know of an accessible word processor similar to microsoft
word that doesn't produce awful HTML output? I've just looked at the
HTML output after saving a word document and there are plenty of tags
and lines of code that do not need to be there. Ideally, the utility
would need to be accessible with screen readers, allow the user to write
a document inserting headings, links, lists, tables etc and then allow
them to export in HTML or just paste directly to an online editor
keeping headings etc in tact.

all the best,

Mo.
