Also, Office 2016 and 2019 can be bought.  Unlike 365, files are stored
locally, rather than clouded.

Subject: [access-uk] Re: [ AVG SPAM] which office

Hi Linda,

Office 2007 hasn't been supported by Microsoft since October 2017.  This
means that they will not be releasing any new updates be that features or
security related.  That also means that other companies are likely to start
removing support for it also.  There have a been a number of major Office
releases since 2007.  You can still buy a boxed version of Office if you
don't want to go down the 365 route. There are also a number of open source
free office suites available.

Hope the above helps.

Kind regards,

Stewart.

i'm about to get a new laptop and was wondering if there is any great
advantage in 375 over office 2007 which I am currently using on an old
desktop that has been revamped to windows 10.  I'm only a basic user don't
do anything complicated. I'm running jaws 18.

Thanks

Linda
