Carol, First of all, please accept my apologies for the late reply, I've been a bit busy at work and home and not read e-mails as much as I would have liked. Many thanks for your help, I'm glad it's not something I did wrong anyway. I will give up on relying on day view, and go back to the other ways of navigating around. If any scripts do come out, hopefully they will consider XP next time. Thanks again, you've been really helpful. You're right: The Day View doesn't work correctly with this version of scripts from Brian Hartgen. (We had considerable discourse about this at the time he wrote them.) Unfortunately, Brian doesn't have a copy of Outlook XP and so was unable to do anything further to the scripts. The work-around, as you suggested, is at least not to rely on the Day View. I probably use Day View most of the time, but don't look for appointments using the cursor keys. In fact, it's true to say that, although I write appointments quite correctly into my calendar, I usually need to look them up on my PacMate which shows everything correctly. However, with the scripts you can still use the Goto command, which in Outlook is pretty flexible as you can write the date format pretty way anyhow. So, what I tend to do if looking up an appointment with Outlook on the desktop is simply to Goto a day and tab around. The scripts certainly make it very possible to work around, even if we haven't got quite the same flexibility as others. I hope this helps and at least gets you far enough. I'm sorry I couldn't clarify things before now but I wanted to check one or two points for clarity in my own mind and that also that the scripts Brian has there are the same ones that I'm now using, which they are. Incidentally, the AM and PM thing are OK too as long as you are sure to check your Day View before tabbing around, then you're sure to read AM where you mean it. If you want to talk about this further, email me at carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx and I'll give you a call, if you can let me have a number.
