Hi all,
Sorry, I can't remember the model of my Linksys router but I'm hoping it
won't matter for this one. Think it's a BEFS (something and it's the older
one Steve had, I think).
After a near miss with the lightning on Wednesday, I'm still here and have a
new NTL modem to replace the one which burned out! The modem wasn't
immediately recognised so I initialised my router and everything came up
apart from SKYPE which still currently isn't working. (Maybe it's down . .
.. If not, I really don't know how to fix the problem)
I thought maybe I had to write in the new MAC address into the router
settings. Although I can find it listed at various points, I can't find an
edit box where I can change the setting. If you think I need to do this and
have any ideas where I make the change then please let me know.
Thanks for any help offered.
