Surely the fivers are plastic not paper? I wouldn't have thought they would
feel like a receipt. But then I haven't seen one yet.

Yes, they are certainly different. I advise anyone going into a shop to make a
cash purchase to be mindful that you could be handed a fiver and your till
receipt at the same time, and that they might be very similar!

My thoughts exactly, I could barely feel the signature at the top centre of the
fiver and had a till receipt that was similar in size and had the same texture
feel to it.
