Barry, I' trust this doesn't mean they're contemplating removing the beep as
you scan through channels and hit upon one with AD?
Perhaps a yay nay toggle would be best for these AD indicator choices? Keeps
everybody happy!

I'm still using an old Sky Plus box where the beep occurs when you land on a
channel with AD, but I must say I do like the idea that it would alert me while
going through the guide. I assume this would be triggered when the user arrows
to that particular show?
Perhaps a discrete beep though, rather than the full on one I'm currently used
to!
I keep putting off the move away from my Plus box in the hope that Sky are
soon to wow me with an upcoming system, here's hoping!

On Sky TV's, we have a beep to let us know if a programme is audio described.
Currently, the beep is played when the user goes into the programme details. Is
this ok or would you prefer that it happened whilst navigating the TV guide?
