Hello,
Perhaps what might be useful for something accessible that won't break
the bank would be one of the cheap nokia phones? I know for a fact
that talks can be acquired quite cheaply these days.

Think that RNIB should have something suitable.
If not, my wife bought an Olympus DM450 (which has voice guidance) on E-bay
recently for £14, and although it can be quite sophisticated, it can also be
very simple – as can many of the Olympus products. HTH,

Hi All.
I know this list is strictly not for buying and selling so perhaps I will be
thrown off but I am not on the recycle list and am just wondering whether
anybody has a note-taker, you know a small memo machine on which I can
record numbers and easily delete those I no longer want but something
digital but not to connect to a computer, something that beeps so you know
when you hae pressed a button. I have a Sony one but something rattles
inside and also I no longer seem to be able to delete. I bought one from
Amazon but even my daughter couldn’t work out how to do it.
If anyone has such a thing they no longer want: please email me.
I hope I won’t be thrown off the list for posting this email.
Mandy.
