WABC, Music Radio 77, which aired super hit music to millions of New
Yorkers, and radio listeners throughout the northeast from the early 1960's
to the early 1980's will revissit its routes, on Memorial Day, Monday, May
26th, 2003. The show will begin at 6:00 AM, continuing until 6:00 PM,
Monday evening, featuring numerous jingles, airchecks of the music and the
air personalities who made that music popular on WABC, during WABC's music
glory days. Then, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday evening, there will be an
hour-long "post-Rewound telephone call-in talk show, during which you will
be allowed to call in and share your memories, live, of WABC's music days.
Of course, if you're within listening range of WABC, you'll be able to hear
WABC's Rewound. However, if you'll not be with in ear shot of the station,
you can listen to WABC radio on the Internet.
