Greetings!

My name is Chet Smalley with some exciting news for you.

I've recently been hired as the admissions coordinator at The National
Statler Center for Careers in Hospitality Service. This free vocational
program is just one of the many exciting programs of our private nonprofit
agency serving blind and visually impaired people here in Buffalo; but our
services are not confined to residents of Western New York. The agency is
now known as the Elizabeth Pierce Olmsted, M.D. Center for the Bisually
Impaired Formerly The Blind Association of Western New York. Well! Times
they are "a-changing" on the shores of Lake Erie and these changes are
having far-flung ramifications from Long Island to Honolulu. Read on!

Our program--I'll call it The Statler Center for short--is, as I've
mentioned already a free vocational program for Blind, Visually Impaired and
otherwise disabled people. The curriculum is presented during thirteen-week
semesters with these study modules beginning in January, May and August.
During the three months students study:

· Oral and Written Communications

· Business Math

· Computers and

· The Hospitality industry

And I know of whence I speak as I am a proud graduate of the program;
indeed, it was my privilege to graduate from the inaugural class in December
of 1999. As a direct result I have worked:

Ø As an in-bound customer service representative in a call center

Ø As the team leader at a small Rehabilitation center in the Midwest

Ø As a computer access specialist in New England

Ø And now as the center's admissions coordinator.

So what about you?

1. Are you employed?

2. Would you like to change careers?

3. Are you a "people person?"

4. Would you like to untangle the confusion that modern computers can be?

5. Would you like to spend three months in a community making a comeback?

If you answered yes to any of these questions; or, more poignantly, if your
answer to question one is "no" then this program may be for you.

OK, I've talked enough, it's time for you to begin to discover that what
I've said here is not just salesmanship. Here's how:

Give me a call at area code 716 882-5690. When the menu kicks in punch up
extension 248 and "poof!" there I am. Or:

Point your browser to http://www.statlercenter.org and navigate our
speech-friendly website. Ah! You'd rather write to us conventionally? Why
didn't you say so? Drop me a line at:
