The biggest issue I find is the guns after coming from center mounted guns
like on the 109, so shooting range and angles need to be adjusted. Also not
being like lasers, destruction power, like you get on the Tempest.
Other adjustment is the elevator trim, it does seem a bit more sensitive than
other aircraft flown. High/low yo-yo’s seem to work well for me(especially
with the new G model), which I use in other less turning aircraft any ways.
As I have said before, when we did our last long time flying of the Spitfire,
I don’t understand why people don’t fly this aircraft more often. It’s easy
to fly, handles really well, retains energy well, only real major down side
is top end speed(which will be resolved once the MkXIV turns up;) ). Get
above 6500m against any of its era opposition (A5/8, G6/14,) or with slight
advantage situation, they have got a hard time on their hands.
It does pay to spend time on one type of aircraft, and get to know it;).

Getting back into the swing of flying the Spitfire again, we manage to take
down 5x enemies yesterday.
Still getting used to the way she flies and the guns shoot, after our last
long spell. You forget how maneuverable the Spitfire is and the new G model
is a great help to get a lot more out of the maneuverability. The 150 octane
climb is K4 like, the last 3x 109 kills, where typical Blaggard bounces.
So all cool ;).
