Glad you had fun:), anything we can do to help out with the errors?
If you know the errors you did, the good thing is that it will be in your mind,
so you will not do the same errors again or at least try not too. If they keep
happening then that’s when it becomes a problem.
Think the guy used up all his luck in getting 3 of you in one pass;).
The Tempest is a beast flying it again last night after F/18 training we have
been doing, is nice to fly. Starting dives from 20,000ft hitting 480 on the
clock half way down so getting to target at way past 500, still having some
manoeuvrability and holds steady, monster! :). Now that we are going the MkXIV
also, the LW are in even more trouble lol.
For something for those who are having troubles seeing aircraft, I have always
flown with gamma at 0.6 as I have always found with the VR for my eyes is too
bright, in game. Anyways for the first part of the night I changed the gamma to
0.7 and found I could not see the tell tale sign of aircraft at distance
“sparkles”. Now that could have been down to that no aircraft were there, for
the second part of the night I dropped my gamma back to 0.6. Once I had done
that I was picking up “sparkles” at distance again, now could be a coincidence.
It works for me in VR might not work on a monitor, there is a down side if you
have a dark background it’s harder to see the camouflaged aircraft you are
chasing. Give it a try it might help.

Hi Colin,
It was quite the opposite for us from my point of view, but we still enjoyed
it. The most disastrous thing happened when 3 of us were shot down by a
single bandit in one pass. It was a cumulation of all errors we could do when
reforming after shooting down Klem's oppressor. Or maybe it was our bad luck
and good luck of this guy. If I were him I would buy a lottery ticket.
Anyway it was a pleasure to fly with a squad strength yesterday.
Dutch is progressing in learning good habits quite well. He already knows how
to not be a ground magnet in a Tempest.
Cheers,
