well as fast as a k4 for 5minutes until your timer runs out, not that it
needs to run far - just be out of guns range (as you say they are not
overly effective although its bullet absorbing tail cant be relied on
now) but it will out climb you and out accelerate easily. Although there
seems to be a year long argument about whether it should out turn a k4
(basically it cant do it in dcs so it must be wrong here).
I watched an equal energy dora at 22k just run away from me upwards - so
I just about faced and legged it pronto.
All the p51 stats are good (except the guns) provided you are already
fast, dont take a head on and dont turn.

The 51 ain’t that bad, the biggest down side is the gun package, I hit the G6
Late with 16rds from 192 fired 8.3% hit rate. Which ain’t to bad firing machine
guns, if I had had that hit rate with cannons the aircraft would have been
destroyed. Since the patch the windscreen is really bad you cannot see out of,
that need fixing ASAP.
The 51 is fast especially with 150oct, just as fast as a K4 on the deck, flies
nice at 30’000ft:). It has a wicked stall a bit like the 190, that’s why you
see a lot of them in a spin, people pull too hard. The biggest issue I have
with it is like I said the gun package, it is no Tempest in that department,
then again nothing is LOL.
