Clearly.
But whether you put an SoP into place, the bouncers control the scenario. They
can continue or leave the fight, etc, if the bouncers know the SoP or not, they
have control and adapt;). So debating here or by other means makes no real
difference, but at least the subject in the thread and what happened on
Wednesday night will get you talking on how to get better unit cohesion on
situations.
Ultimately you don’t want to get bounced, that is your start point, then in
breaks down to that if you are going to get bounced you want to see it as early
as possible. If that is not possible then reaction to a last second bounce is
your next point.
I actually don’t think a set SoP is your answer, but quick alert thinking by
your flight leads/wingman is. That is up to you to discuss, and sort through,
here or else where:).

Clearly, after being bounced we need some Standard Procedure that defends the
damaged aircraft and the rest until we've regained understanding of our
situation.
So that might be, "do a tac-turn of 90 degrees towards the sun." Or
something else.
Given you fly against us, it might be unwise to debate that here!
It might also be best to have a couple of responses, but clear understanding
or instruction before the bounce about what action is expected.
