The selection of flyable aircraft for IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles series
continues to grow, and today we happy to announce our next Collector Plane will
be – the C-47A Skytrain! The C-47 is currently an AI-only aircraft, but many of
you have asked us to make this famous transport plane flyable so the Allies
have something comparable to our popular German Junkers Ju 52. We have listened
and work on it has begun! The flyable C-47 is being built by our partners at
Ugra Media with our supervision and support. Ugra Media has previously made the
legendary U-2VS for IL-2.
The C-47 is already available for pre-order in the Il-2 Official Webstore. Who
wants to drop paratroopers over Normandy or supplies to besieged troops in
Bastogne? … we sure do!
