Good News.
We just had a meeting with the local government. We will meet again
on Tuesday. On Tuesday we will know exactly how much money they will
give us and what activities these money will cover.
On Tuesday we will tell you if:
1) We pay the contract by ourselves, using the club’s money and our member’s
fee.
2) Or if the amount will be fully covered by the government.
We wish to know what is the legal substance of Ocean Lava Races, and what kind
of invoice
you can give to someone who pays for the contract.
If the government, agrees to pay the contract, we will have to get you in
contact to arrange
the payment. Otherwise we will need to pay you using club’s money, probably in
3 equal parts.
e.g. 1000 Euros giving us a few months to compensate with the expenses.
We wish to make clear that, on either way, the local government, agreed to
promote the race
and pay for other expenses, like advertising, volunteers etc.
We agreed to make the first Ocean Lava Rhodes on October 30th.
We wish also to know, when we will be able to publicly announce the race, which
is very important.
May be we will have to talk to you on the phone on Tuesday or the next day, if
you will be available.
