Χθες είχαμε επικοινωνία με τον Kenneth (ιδρυτής του Ocean Lava)
ο οποίος είναι σύμφωνος να ξεκινήσει η συνεργασία άμεσα,
δίνοντας άμεσα στον αγώνα του Οκτωβρίου το όνομα
Ocean Lava Rhodes Triathlon.
Σε συνάντηση που είχαμε η οργανωτική επιτροπή προχθές και αφού λάβαμε
υπόψιν ότι στις:
1) 9 Οκτωβρίου υπάρχει τοπικός ποδηλατικός αγώνας
2) 16 Οκτωβρίου είναι ο τελικός του Ocean Lava Lanzarotte
3) 16 και 23 Οκτωβρίου έχουν ανακοινωθεί ήδη αγώνες τριάθλου στην Αθήνα
4) 23 Οκτωβρίου υπάρχει και το Half Ironman της Τουρκίας
Η καλύτερη επιλογή μας για φέτος είναι η 30 Οκτωβρίου.
Ο Kenneth δεν έχει πρόβλημα, αφού δεν συμπίπτει με τον αγώνα στο Lanzarote.

Dear Kenneth,
We hope you are doing well.
We, here in Rhodes, are waiting for the local government to approve our
economic proposal, so that we can proceed to sign the contract with Ocean
Lava. This could happen on the next week, or the next few days.
(Do you think they will say yes?)
As we said in our previous emails, the local government is very hot on
organising an Olympic Triathlon inside the city centre, during October 2016.
(2016 is good.)
We wish to know how you feel, about it and if you think we could make it, so
that this Olympic triathlon would be the first Ocean Lava Rhodes race.
(Olympic event is the best way to start with.)
If you have any objections, which will be very reasonable, due to time
considerations, we could organise the race on the same route, without it
being an Ocean Lava Race on 2016, and proceed starting the Ocean Lava Races
on 2017.
If however, you think it is possible, we would like you, to give us your
opinion on the date of the event.
We know that 16th of October 2016, you have the Ocean Lava Lanzarote. Would
it be a problem for Ocean Lava Rhodes Olympic Triathlon to take place on
that date;
If there is a problem, we can push it forward to 23 of October, although on
that date there is the Turkey Gloria Half Ironman, which is very close to
Rhodes.
(What about the week before Ocean Lava Lanzarote?
Weekend 7th or 8th of October 2016)
