ossonyc: Osso NYC
Osso is a New York-based string quartet that experiments with technical/electronic advances in music using traditional string instruments as its foundation. Osso is currently rearranging Sufjan Stevens' electronic ode to the Chinese zodiac, "Enjoy Your Rabbit." The mission of this list is to use the technology of the web to promote and share information regarding upcoming performances, create a community of artists interested in infusing the modern with the traditional, and find new ways to incorporate technology with the classical.
