ldsailclub: Lake Davenport Sailing Club
Members and friends of Lake Davenport Sailing Club. We have been using yahoo groups to disseminate information about our club to members and interested followers of sailing in the Quad City area. It is getting difficult to add new members to that group because of changes in yahoo's group requirements. We are looking for a way to spread information about events, regattas and other news of interest to about 150 people who have registered on the yahoo group forum. By using an email list we hope to provide a more direct way to communicate to those who want to learn to sail or simply following what's happening related to the sport on our area.
