Dear all,
I plan to be in Pakistan from August 13 till Sept 15th. I wonder if any of
you would point me or guide me to any specific activities in the Zalzala
area that are sponsored by Bostonian Community. I would like to help out, on
the ground, for few days, when I am there, in any capacity.

Subject: [zalzala] Livestock Initiative by Zalzala Group and the NEXT
meeting
To All,
LIVESTOCK INITATIVE IS MOVING FAST!
Our Livestock Project is moving ahead rapidly! A Memo of Understanding has
been signed with Human Development Foundation, which is now our official
partner on the ground for Bugna Village. Thalassa Scholl is going to
Pakistan (Inshallah) in August, and will visit Bugna Village Complex and
meet with HDF and the veterinarian group.
Best of all, we have received $9,000 in donations: enough to buy 60 goats
and start the first phase of the project (2 goats each for 5 families in all
6 villages). But we still need a few spare goats for emergencies, and to
buy vaccinations, and pay for training of the goat owners. And of course we
need help with the next stage of the project.
A pair of Jatthal goats costs $300. Please help us with as many pairs as
you can.
Remember, our goal is to provide milk for the destitute children of Bugna...

We plan to have the next Zalzala Group meeting on Saturday July 29, 2006
(11:00AM - 1:00PM), please confirm your attendence by July 25, 2006. The
