Delphi 5 (with all patches etc), and it blows up on start up, before I can
do anything with it.
Debugging appears to blow up in the run section, stepping it:
First call: TfrmDIRegExWorkbench.FormCanResize
Second call: TfrmDIRegExWorkbench.memoEnterHighlight - made it to Font.Color
:= clHighlightText;
Third call: TfrmDIRegExWorkbench.FormCanResize
Fourth call: TfrmDIRegExWorkbench.FormCanResize - blows up

I do not know why this would happen, the WorkBench does not any special API
calls as far as I rememeber. Which Delphi version did you compile it with?

Does the WorkBench crash immediately after startup or only after you perform
some action (execute, list, replace)? If so, it could help to know exactly
what you are doing.

Are you able to debug on Vista? It might help to know where the AV occurs.
