I heard (read) that the new version of ZASFX has the same problem. If it
is, why don't we ask Nasca O. Paul about what does he think about it? Or
maybe we can ask somebody who know any little detail about how gcc
works, maybe they can provide us some hints or something like that.
Sorry if I say stupid things, I'm a total newbie.

Relax, there's nothing stupid in any of that, they're valid questions. I
figure if the development version of zynaddsubfx is indeed encountering
the same problem, then I'm pretty sure Paul would be aware of it. I'm
also pretty confident that if he knew the solution, then zynaddsubfx
would no longer have the problem.

On top of that I've always had a sense of guilt over forking his project
in the first place. I've always had huge respect for Paul and his work.
The fact that the only reason yoshimi ever happened was due to the
attitude of the two people who took over stewardship of his project
hasn't stopped that guilty feeling. I'm not inclined to trouble Paul
over any problem in yoshimi.

LAD would be the logical place to float a question, but first I have to
come up with a sensible question. No way am I going to put a question
out there with little more detail to it than "Yoshimi doesn't work and
I don't know why. Please help". That fact that I'm unable to reproduce
the problem locally effectively drops my prospects of solving it on my
own to zero, so on this one I'm dependent on the cooperation of others.

cheers, Cal
