"Separate vertex" won't do because more than one vertex can be
processed in one go (and it sounds odd). "Separate vertices" is
ambiguous.

I like "unmerge vertices" because it's consistent with the
existing functions ("merge"), although I'm not sure it's any more
English than "unshare vertices".

"Disconnect linedefs" is even better but this function would work
on vertices, not linedefs.

Are "fragment vertices", "multiply vertices", "divide vertices"
any better or worse than the above ?
