Erik,I agree with the proposed solutions in these three defects (particularly for solution about protected passwords discussed in Geneva). I have some editorial comments which I'll send as AFNOR ballot comments:
- in X.511 DTC 2: 81.1 should be 8.1.1 the paragraph related to defect 327 in for X.520 - in X.520 DTC 3 defect 325: the subclause 6.6.3 is also referenced by 6.6 defect 327: the subclause (7.1.1) to be changed is not mentioned. Jean-Paul.
We have a few defect reports that have not been reflected in any DTC so far. To get correction into the sixth edition, it is quite important tohave the voting completed before our September meeting. I thereforehastily put together three DTCs and they are now out for voting. Some ofthe material included has not be thoroughly discussed on the list. Please study the DTCs carefully and submit any comment you might have, so that we have a complete consensus at the September meeting. Due to the haste by which the DTCs were produced, a couple of editorialmistakes were made. This is explained in details on http://www.x500standard.com/index.php?n=Defects.DraftTechnicalCorrigenda , where you will find links to the DTCs.
