All,
The 2016 Armed Forces Day Cross-Band Event is an excellent and rare
opportunity to intercept some U.S. military stations who will be
transmitting broadcasts using RTTY, MT63, M110A, and other digital modes,
even CW. The military stations will transmit on military frequencies but
also listen for ham radio stations on the ham bands. You’ll also be able
to communicate with them directly using split-frequency operation
(transmit on ham band; listen on military freq.) in SSB, digital modes, or
