... one of the things that strikes me is that Wittgenstein is a lot like Jesus 
(or Socrates) in this sense. What is needed is a group of disciples or 
followers to learn what was said and to wonder about what it meant. The key 
being that (a) it is greater than you; and (b) it requires a sorting out that 
involves coming to terms with what it was (experiencing it). It is never simply 
"news" (information) and it is not susceptible to being merely "an argument." 
It is foremost an experience. It's a different plane of regard.
