I stopped at the Cty B Yahara River widespread, just north of Stoughton. There
were 10 White-fronted Geese, best viewed from Cty B. I didn't find any other
unusual geese among the 700+ Canadas. Still the wintering Tundra Swans, here
and at Lower Mud Lake.
At Lower Mud, there were 13 Canvasbacks, 1 male scaup and 1 male Redhead.
There had been 1 male Redhead wondering around all winter, so not sure if that
was new. Duck viewing was distant and hard in the wind. The group of
Ring-necked Ducks were still there.
