I ran my Hebron BBS route on Sunday AM. This was my 19th consecutive year running it. I found 15 House Wrens on the route. I checked the average over the last 10 years and found that is was 16.2 House Wrens per year. No big drop off which is good. Ironically, As I type this message, the first House Wren of the year for my yard is singing up a storm and checking out the wren houses. Maybe they will nest here again after all.
