Hi everyone--

I wanted to let every Wisconsin birdwatcher know that we're having an open
house at the Birder's World website, BirdersWorld.com. For this week only,
we're allowing every visitor full access to every article, every column, every
bit of content on the website.

I thought you'd like to know because so many Wisconsin birdwatchers have
written or contributed to the magazine over the years.

Here's what I mean:

Our most recent issue (June 2009) contains the results of a field test of 11
top-of-the line binoculars conducted in March by members of the Riveredge Bird
Club on their annual trip to the North Woods:

Spend More, Get More

Members of the Riveredge Bird Club also helped us evaluate 50-mm mini spotting
scopes in our February 2009 issue:

Wisconsin birders Steve Betchkal, Craig D. Thompson, Anita Carpenter, and Andy
Paulios have also written some of the best features we've published in the
magazine.

And that's not all. Wisconsin birders Ty Baumann, Chuck Heikkinen, and John
Idzikowski have written about three great Wisconsin hotspots for our regular
"Hotspots Near You" feature:

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Green Bay
Hotspot Near You No. 52

All of the articles are available to all of you, even if you're not a
subscriber or a registered visitor to the website, until Sunday, May 10. Please
do take a look before Sunday!

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
