[wisb] Wisbirdn slowness

As some of you have no doubt noticed, Wisbirdn is experiencing some
pronounced slowness this afternoon (the "Test - ignore" message I sent
earlier took about 90 minutes to come through to my Inbox.) The
Freelists.org website does appear to be functional, so this may just be
temporary. I'm sending this at 3:55 p.m. - we'll see how long it takes
to get through.
