Hi Folks, While walking Buster the Boston Terrier today I heard a familiar sound and sure enough - the White-fronted Goose from last winter and the three "hybrids??" were back on the Yahara River east of Babcock Park. No other rare ducks/geese but I'm expecting the Barrow's Goldeneye and a Black Scoter (the last one I need for the yard list) to show up at any moment. This afternoon on Vinburn road north of Sun Prairie I had a large flock (200+) of Lapland Longspurs that included a Snow Bunting and a bunch of larks. Andy P.
