Jim Otto reports hearing the Chuck-will's-widow last night at the usual
spot in Jackson Co., on Bartos Rd. about 100 yds. west of Kirch. He
said it was calling at 9:00 p.m. when he got there, and continued to
call for the next 20 minutes as it moved around to various locations.
It was still calling when he & his wife left at 9:20.
