Greetings all,
There was a Snowy Owl at the end of South pier last seen about 30 minutes ago.
I first saw a large, white bird on the platform at the end of the pier from the
end of Pennsylvania Avenue. Thinking it was a Snowy, I drove over to the
parking circle at Blue Harbor. By the time I got there the platform was empty.
However,I saw some large wing beats and saw the owl fly back up to the pier
with something dark in it's talons. I walked out a way on the pier to get a
better look. (Pretty icy!) Perhaps the same bird reported by Dave and Margaret
Brasser last week? This is the first one I've seen since Nov. 10.
