Thanks to Dave Brasser's post, I found my first Snowy of the season. At the
Marina, directly out from the entrance to the Marina building, on the boat
pier. Also found a Horned/Eared Grebe swimming in the ditch between the
cement walk and the parallel pier. If someone sees this Grebe and can
positively id it, I would be very grateful.
