I walked the dog at Sheridan Park in Cudahy today from around
10:50-11:40am. Highlights included an Eastern Meadowlark pair on the north
end, a large number of Swamp Sparrows (probably more than ten, but
conservatively estimated at eight), my first of year House Wren, several
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, and a handful of Palm Warblers calling, also at the
north end. I also caught the tail end of a Brown Thrasher.
Good birding,
