The woods was slow this morning. Still a fair number of White-throated and White-crowned Sparrows moving through. The White-crowned seemed to be juveniles. A Cooper's Hawked seemed to be nearby wherever I walked. A few R-c Kinglets were working the conifers near the cemetery. I heard the Winter Wrens several times but only managed to see one near my exit spot on the south end of the woods near the creek. One Yellow-rump was still hanging out near the bridge by the Cousins Center. It stayed in the brush and might have been injured. Chimney Swifts were still fairly abundant. Other birds seen were Downy and Red-belly W.P., Wht-br Nuthatch, and Chickadees.
