Yes, looking through the various birding guides, I would agree that this bird looks to be a Vermillion Flycatcher, not a Say's Phoebe - great pictures Brian! Either way, great find Judith! It was still present at 12:40 on the south west portion of the golf course. Lots of birders there watching, so should be able to find the bird. Most of the morning it's been in this general area. I checked out Bradford Beach for the Willet, but no luck. It had been seen earlier in the day by someone else though. Locust Ravine had a few House Wrens. Lots of Gnatcatchers one YR Warbler and a bunch of goldfinch, but nothing of note. It is mainly on the golf course. You have to really wait for it to fly. It stays fairly low while flying to and from open bushes and low branches in trees. The photo is heavily cropped so not great but ok for documentary. http://www.pbase.com/bhansen/image/142983578 Thanks for shooting out the quick email Judith and to Dave for heads up!! http://www.pbase.com/bhansen/image/142983578 Brian Hansen Milwaukee - east side #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
