Hello, I'm posting comments below for a friend. --Barbara Duerksen, Richland County Last Tuesday a pair of bluebirds started building their nest in a Peterson box in my yard. The nest is about 2/3 finished now. This seemed way too early--not only too cold, but also no insects for the young. Today, however, I noticed the bluebirds flying down at frequent intervals to pick up worms/little caterpillars from the grass.
