Rick Fare found a RED PHALAROPE at Wind Point Lighthouse / Shoop Park (Racine County) this afternoon. At ~4:00PM, Rick first observed the bird feeding along the shoreline just north of the Wind Point Lighthouse. At 5:00 P.M., it was feeding along the shoreline northeast of the Shoop Park parking area, easily observed from the parking lot with a scope. By 6:05 P.M., just before dusk, the phalarope was last observed along the shoreline south of the single pier that is located between the parking area at Shoop and the lighthouse. Wind Point and Shoop Park are located between the Three and Four Mile Roads on the Lake Michigan lakefront. Walking distance along the shoreline between the lighthouse parking area and the Shoop parking area is approximately 0.5-0.6 miles.] Eric Howe Troy Center, northern Walworth Co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
