As in spring, Pike Lake is slow to get going for the Fall migration. But after 4 morning checks, this a.m. had some decent stuff. First of fall included Lincoln's sparrow, Blackburnian, black and white, c-sided, and y-rumped warblers (had palm last evening- not sure what to make of that but it is the earliest date for both spp. according to my records). Also Swainson's thrush. Nice looks at juvie clay-colored sparrow. Not much, but it's a start.
