Birders, I still have a few routes to fill for the 2014 WI Nightjar Survey. Volunteers survey a pre-determined roadside route one time between June 5 and 19 when the moon is above horizon and unobscured by clouds. The survey takes about 2 hours to complete and is a nice way to get out and enjoy the sounds of a summer night. Targets include Whip-poor-will, C. Nighthawk, and owls.
