Hello birders,
After a handful of years in the saddle, I have resigned as Chair of the
Wisconsin Society for Ornithology's Records Committee to spend more non-work
time focused on my wife and two sons. I enjoyed the work and thank all of you
who tried your best to provide the committee the high-quality documentations of
rare birds that it seeks.
My successor, effective immediately, is Quentin Yoerger. Quentin hails from the
opposite end of the state, making his home in Evansville, Rock County. He is an
avid, expert birder known to and respected by many in the Wisconsin birding
community. Quentin is a member of this list and I'll allow him to fully
introduce himself if he so chooses. He can be reached directly at
harrierqman@xxxxxxxxx.
Please join me in welcoming Quentin to this important volunteer position
helping to maintain accurate records of Wisconsin's rare birds.
