A common complaint this time of year is the sheer number of emails you get as folks get out and beat the bushes for birds. It can be a bit overwhelming, I know. One solution is to set your account to "Digest" mode - you will get ONE email each evening from Wisbirdn, which contains all of that day's posts, which you can scan, save for later, or delete unread, depending on your time & inclination. You can also still post to the list that way. You can also set your account to "Vacation" mode - you won't get ANY Wisbirdn emails, but will remain subscribed to the list and can reset it at any time. Both of the above options are "self-serve", and can be done by using the links at the bottom of this or any Wisbirdn email. (I am always amazed that even long-time subscribers sometimes have never noticed those links...)
